Plainfield Mock Disaster: Success!

Sunday the 15th marked another successful FBCI Mock Disaster! Plainfield Christian Church's Action Team woke up early in the morning to simulate a shelter opening in their facility. The result was a huge success! Confident, in control, and above all, respectful to "clients" and "visitors," the Action Team demonstrated top-notch skills as shelter staff. Special thanks go to Robin White and Ernie Harvey (the Plainfield Action Team leadership) for making the Mock Disaster a reality on very short notice! We also thank Red Cross volunteer Jonathon Cook for his participation as Shelter Manager.

Plainfield's Mock Disaster was Kira and Laura's first experience with this exciting aspect of the FBCI program. They look forward to more of these events in the coming year!
